Endless Birthday Wishes

As a Stampin’ Up Demonstrators, each week we get updates from the main office about what is happening and what is new and what specials are going on and on and on.  We also get an email with ideas for projects and classes and techniques etc.  Several weeks ago, the birthday cards below were one of the ideas that they offered as a possible class.  Well, I just loved them!  So, I CASED them to offer to my customers as a class.  I usually try to come up with my own designs but sometimes there are cards and other projects that I just want to try as they are.  I have to say that when I am having a hard time coming up with ideas, it does help to have so many ideas to be inspired by.  I just loved how colorful and happy these cards are.IMG_0543

Getting Used to a Routine!

Hi Everyone! I haven't been around for a while. I have never been very good at
keeping a schedule. I have had a few things going on in my other life so I just
loose track of the time. I will get this, other people do it, so can I!

Below is a card that I created with the "floating reinker technique". I saw this
on YouTube in a video created by Sandi MacIver. I love it, it is so much fun. It
is a watercolor technique. First you heat emboss an open image onto watercolor paper,
then you add water to the area you want to color in. Just drop in color and let it
spread and combine and you get results like I did below.

I used Cucumber Crush cardstock cut at 8 1/2x5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4. Basic black, cut
at 4x51/4 for layering. watercolor paper cut at 33/4x5 for stamping and painting. I will
include a list of supplies below.

I plan to be doing a lot more creating with new products form the Stampin' Up
new 2016-2017 catalog which is going live June 1st! Can't wait!
